Aubie Came to Town

By all accounts, we had a celebrity on our hands last night.  At the annual Wiregrass Auburn Club golf tournament this year they brought in Aubie and Tiger Talk.  Aubie was a bit hit with all the kids.  And Aubie gets major props for letting all the munchkins crawl all over him, pull his tail, play with his whiskers and push on his feet.  He was a pro at this.  Here are a few pics I snapped.

My best group shot.  LB of course has her back to the camera.

Bringing Home a W!

What can I say...

We're pumped, ecstatic, over-whelmed, over-joyed, can-hardly wait excited!

Headed out to Arizona early tomorrow morning.

Looking forward to hanging out with my parents; meeting up with some great Auburn fans; and bringing home a W.

Weagle Weagle

Going to Auburn for the weekend is always a high point, but this past weekend was particularly special.  It marked the 2nd Annual Ham-Ponder Family Reunion.
The two smallest Auburn Fans at the party - Henry and LB
With 20 tickets together, you would look down the row and all you could see were Ponders and Hams - literally!  It was incredible.  Immediately, a tradition was born.

With the family split between Auburn and Georgia fans, this past weekend's ballgame provided a perfect and natural fit for the gathering.  Having just started the reunion last year in Donalsonville with the Ponder side playing hosts, this year the Hams were hosting in their neck of the woods.

Plenty of delicious food, a fabulous gathering house for tailgating and plenty of cousins, aunts, uncles and grandmothers - it was a great weekend!

Trip to Auburn

Grant attended a seminar in Auburn last week, so LB and I decided to tag along.  It turned out to be an interesting trip, but fun nonetheless.  Most of these pictures are in front of Samford Hall.  I needed a shot to go with LB's picture in front of the Colonnade at W&L.

Oh, did I mention she got car sick?  This is the aftermath - trying to clean up.

And that explains her jersey and polka dot pants.  We had to make a Wal-Mart run to buy new clothes.
